Mark Sayer
I am a self
taught photographer based in the North East of England (Leeds)
and have over seven years active experience in the fields of
commercial and journalistic photography. I spent several years
as a freelance photographer contributing motorsport images to a
Subarua magazine and also regularly supplied various other
motorsport related publications with stock images. My work has
appeared on television and high profile sites (e.g.
BBC Online and
The Sun) as well as a vast
number of websites, high street magazines, club magazines, trade
magazines, books, advertising and marketing purposes.
Being the
“man with a camera” to my family and friends, I started shooting
a few portraits for people I know. This expanded into me
shooting some portrait sessions, model portfolios and even a
couple of weddings.
More
recently I have been experimenting with some abstract and
creative images.
Making a
Booking / Freelance Services
Currently photography is a
secondary income to me which has both good and bad points. The
good points (which are all in the client favour) are that
because I am not making a living from photography means I can
charge significantly less than full time photographers as I am
only really covering my expenses and putting money away to
purchase new equipment. The only downside (bad point) is that my
time is limited to weekends and weeknight evenings.
I am
available to shoot portraits, parties, portfolios, award
evenings.. basically anything you would like photographed!
For
model/portfolio shoots I am currently offering a TFCD solution
as I am still building up my own experience and portfolio. All
model/portfolio shoots will require a model release form to be
completed prior to the shoot, download

I have
seven years experience of motorsport photographic journalism and
am able to provide high impact newsworthy images within tight
deadlines.
I have also
been freelancing for several music publications over the last 2
years.
